OUR STORY
Heritage Skills. Modern Standards.

Nest & Nook was founded on a simple conviction: that the finest home décor comes from the hands of skilled artisans — and that those artisans deserve access to the world’s most discerning markets. Based in Bangladesh, we operate as a full-service buying house with our own production lines for baskets, rugs, and table textiles.

We work with European retailers, interior brands, and lifestyle buyers to co-develop collections that are genuinely handcrafted, responsibly produced, design-forward, and competitively priced — without compromise on any of those terms. Our team manages the full supply chain: design briefing, artisan coordination, quality assurance, compliance documentation, and logistics to your EU port of entry.

OUR COLLECTIONS
Made in Bangladesh. Designed for Your Market.

Every product in the Nest & Nook range is made from natural fibres — jute, seagrass, water hyacinth,
cotton — by skilled artisans with generations of weaving knowledge. Our own production lines cover baskets,
rugs, and table textiles; our curated sourcing network of over 400 SMEs extends the range into throws, cushions, and accent
pieces. All collections are designed with EU retail trends and compliance requirements in mind.

OUR COMMITTMENT
Good for People. Good for the Planet.

Bangladesh has one of the world’s richest traditions of natural fibre craft. At Nest & Nook, sustainability means protecting that heritage — and the communities behind it — while meeting the full weight of EU buyer expectations on environmental and social standards. This is not a marketing position. It is how our business is built.

1

Natural & Biodegradable Materials

Jute, water hyacinth, seagrass, and cotton — raw materials that grow abundantly in Bangladesh, require minimal processing, and leave no synthetic residue. No polyester blends in our core lines.

2

Fair Wages & Safe Workplaces

All production units — owned and partner — operate under fair wage standards with independently verifiable safe working conditions. We are working toward BSCI and SA8000 audit readiness across our full supply chain.

3

Women-Led Artisan Workforce

More than 70% of our artisan workforce are women in rural Bangladesh — earning stable incomes, building skills, and gaining economic independence through craft. We document and share this impact transparently with our buyers.

Natural, Undyed & Low-Impact Fibres

Jute, water hyacinth, seagrass, and cotton — raw materials that grow abundantly in Bangladesh, require minimal processing, and are free from synthetic dyes and chemical treatments in our core lines. No polyester blends. No hidden finishes.

Fair Wages & Safe Workplaces

All production units — owned and partner — operate under fair wage standards with independently verifiable safe working conditions. We are working toward BSCI and SA8000 audit readiness across our full supply chain.

EU Regulatory Alignment

Our supply chains are structured to comply with REACH chemical regulations and the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) — with full traceability documentation available to buyers on request. We are actively working toward OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification across our textile lines.

EU Duty-Free Access via EBA

Bangladesh benefits from the EU's Everything But Arms (EBA) arrangement — meaning 0% import duty on our products entering the European Union. A direct commercial advantage for our buyers compared to sourcing from China or India.
